"The room was decorated beautifully. The staff including the waiting staff could not have been more attentive or polite and we kept them very busy but nothing was too much trouble. Planning an event like this can be stressful but the staff at the Marine made everything so easy for me. All of our guests were really impressed with the standard of the hotel and we had a fantastic night. I have stayed at the Marine in the past and have always had a positive experience so it made sense to have a special event there. The staff at the Marine are a credit to the hotel."

We recently held a business event in the hotel with delegates staying overnight. The complete experience was brilliant, great service and great facilities. The GM made us feel like the only guests he had to look after and staff were amazing. We will definitely book again and visit socially as well.

We were attending a business function in the hotel and those facilities were first class. An array of freshly baked scones, whipped cream & jam accompanied the morning tea & coffee. The hotel is perfectly placed on the seafront with a lovely terrace area from which to enjoy the views. It's close to all the local amenities. After a great nights sleep we enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast served by friendly staff and a very helpful breakfast chef. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended venue. We hold fairly regular events in the hotel, and the team of staff always go above and beyond to accommodate. We can’t thank or praise the team enough for their assistance before and during events. Always a pleasure to work with.
